alysoid - hill house

The organic topography of the hilly area suggested the architectural concept of the house. Therefore, the lower floor looks like an extension of the hill.

All the main living spaces are located on the second floor, which commands the most picturesque view of the forest with a creek.

To decorate and illuminate the living room with extreme elegance, a magnificent composition made by Alysoid suspensions – designed by Ryosuke Fukusada –  has been realized and chosen by the architectural studio Horomystudio to give a full of peace and harmony atmosphere.

The exterior is coated in unique black stone from the Karelia region, called gabbro-diabase. Natural oak was chosen for the interior finish of the house. Delicate sliding shutters to the house windows with traditional Russian saw-cut carving were added to emphasize its rustic style.

The final appearance of the interior is an elaborate mix of stylistic principles, materials, lighting elements, and lines that create a sophisticated and homely interior.
